For the 41-48 Ford conversion kit, you will need a donor frame from 1982-2004 S10 or S15 2WD pickup standard cab short bed
The OE wheel base of the 41-48 Ford was 114". On the Ford kit, your S10/ S15 frame will need to be lengthened or shortened depending on the donor frame that you are starting with.
GM made three S10 designs: 108" standard cab short bed, 117.9" standard cab long bed, and the 123" extended cab short bed.
The easiest frames to work with are the 82’ – 93’ years what is most commonly referred to as the open channel years of frames.
