2 PSI Residual Pressure Valve

This universal residual pressure valve maintains 2 psi in the brake line to prevent brake fluid from returning to the master cylinder.  These residual valves are especially important for vehicles that have the brake master cylinder mounted below the floorboard or on the frame as the master cylinder is most likely mounted below the brake calipers which allows fluid bleed back and cause a soft pedal.
